I'm an E-commerce Media Specialist based in London. I've been working in e-commerce 10 months now, and I have over 2.5 years experience working in digital marketing. I am a National College of Ireland graduate, there I studied Marketing Practice and discovered an interest in Digital Marketing.

August 2020 - present

October 2018 - July 2020
Club Travel is the largest independently-owned travel company in Ireland, and is the parent company of a range of leading travel agencies including Budget Travel and Abbey Travel.
I worked here as a Digital Marketing Executive in the marketing department.
As part of this team, we carried out numerous digital marketing campaigns for a total of 8 different travel agencies across different digital channels.
A lot of my work involved the maintenance of various customer information databases across all the brands. I frequently analysed the data and compiled reports for use across the entire company. Another responsibility of mine was to update the brands’ websites with current offers on a weekly basis using different CMS's. I also assisted in various other digital operations such as SEO web content writing, social media activity, and Google Ad campaigns.
Sept 2017 - May 2020
My time at NCI gave me an excellent base of knowledge in marketing and general business practices. Areas of business that I studied include Marketing Strategy, Project Management, Digital Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communications. Nearly every semester included a "live" project that involved co-operating with real businesses and organizations, for example our final year project in association with Shopify. I achieved a Second Class Honours, Grade 1 degree (2:1).
Sept 2014 - May 2015
A full time course on information technology that I took upon graduating secondary school. I studied IT areas such as Database Methods, Web Development, Image Processing, and Computer Programming. I achieved 5 distinctions, 3 merits & 1 pass.
40075km was my final year project in college. It was an ecommerce website, that allowed the user to create their own personalized travel journal. My group and I came up with the product idea, created and built a brand around the product, and executed various marketing campaigns. The project was ran is associatation with Shopify, and we used their platform to creat our online store.
At Club Travel I built numerous webpages for various holiday destinations, blog posts, and sport events travel packages. I created the pages using our Content Management Systems, iVector and Umbraco. For each page, I performed Search Engine Optimization (SEO) functions before launching the page, such as keyword research and selecting title tags and meta descriptions. After launch, I would employ Google Analytics to monitor the success of the page, and make changes where necessary.
